Peace for Me, Thanks

It is close to 8 AM here, and already I am thinking about breakfast and what I hope to do today. None of us ever knows what a day will bring. Just remember Kobe Bryant and his beautiful young daughter. Although they had to know logically that there is some risk whenever you take a flight in a helicopter, they didn’t know that they had taken their last Communion this side of Heaven. Please pray for their family and for all the families of those who were killed in the tragic helicopter crash. We live in a crazy world where sometimes bad things happen. I don’t always understand God’s timing. I know, however, He is good all the time! Amidst all the craziness, I want peace — not at any cost but still peace. May today bring you blessings and peace!

On the Plate

So what’s on the plate for today, God willing? My husband and I plan to stay at home. He told me yesterday that he felt that he could be coming down with something, maybe a cold. I sincerely hope not for both his sake and mine. When he gets sick, I usually catch whatever it is that he has. It will be good for us to have a quiet day. He’ll probably spend part of the day online and watching YouTube videos and TV.

    1. I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for you, dear friend, and for your friend’s family. ALS is such a cruel disease. 😥
